Prior of the Convent of the Santo Ángel de la Guarda of Seville. Bachelor of Art History from the Universidad de Córdoba and doctorate from the Universidad de Sevilla. Expert in Carmelite iconography.

Director of the Biblioteca-Museo Mariano Carmen Coronada in Seville and director of the  Museo San Juan de la Cruz in Úbeda. In addition, he directs the Miriam magazine that is dedicated to the figure of the Virgin Mary.

Curator of the exhibition  Las Edades del Hombre of the year 2015. He has contributed to the dating and attribution of numerous works of art.
