Seville has a rich historical and artistic heritage: Seville Cathedral, Reales Alcázares, Plaza de España, beautiful temples, convents, neighbourhoods, palaces and gardens.

Its Holy Week is known worldwide, being a unique event in the city. Visits with the students to different brotherhoods to admire the great sculptural and pictorial works live, including the observation of them within its own liturgy and traditions of popular piety, which helps to understand the work in its context are organized.

The Museum of Fine Arts in Seville has probably the best collection of religious art in the world with works by Diego Velázquez, Esteban Murillo, Francisco de Zurbarán, Pedro de Mena, Juan de Mesa, Juan Martínez Montañés, Francisco Pacheco, Valdés Leal and a long et cetera.

There is a student atmosphere thanks to its three universities; you can also enjoy its April Fair, its culture of tapas, spending time outdoors with warm temperatures during most of the year and the friendliness of its people. It is very interesting for foreign students to learn the language and get to know the country.

You can also find a great cultural atmosphere thanks to its museums, theaters, exhibitions. Cultural visits are organized exclusively for EASS students.

Seville also has highly modern spaces such as the metropol-parasol popularly known as Las setas, where you can find the Antiquarium, with archaeological remains from the Roman period; the Pelli tower and its shopping area; and the aquarium and the river banks of the Guadalquivir.
