Why Sacred Art?
There are many reasons to study Sacred Art at the School of Sacred Art in Seville (EASS), here we expose some of those that we consider most important.
Wide demand
There is a wide demand for quality religious art works by dioceses, parishes, religious congregations, brotherhoods, religious educational centers, new temples and individuals.
Shortage of quality artists
There are very few artists with the knowledge and training necessary to produce quality works of sacred art.
Training to make any artistic work
The artistic training obtained from the courses offered by the EASS allows the student to acquire knowledge that can be applied in quality works of art in general, beyond sacred art in particular. However, a general artistic training does not allow for the creation of works of excellence in sacred art, neither at an artistic nor theoretical level.
